Useful advice needs visible evidence.

Contractor Software HQ is an Elevated Labs publication. We help contractors evaluate business software. Our current articles use public vendor documentation and editorial analysis. They are not hands-on product tests.

What earns a recommendation

A recommendation must identify the business need, the supporting facts, the source and what remains unverified. We do not invent testing experience, customer quotes, performance measurements or numerical ratings. A missing detail in our research is not proof that a feature is missing from a product.

Sources and corrections

We link product claims to official sources, date substantive reviews and distinguish vendor claims from our own evaluation criteria. Prices must include the applicable plan and material conditions. When the complete cost is unclear, we request a quote rather than invent a total.

On September 11, 2026, we replaced unsupported ratings and repaired incomplete articles from our initial publication. We also corrected the statement that Sameday had no public pricing page. Older revisions remain in our project history.

Affiliate relationships

Some outbound links may earn a commission. Partnership availability does not determine which products appear or their order. Ordinary vendor links remain available for products without a partnership. An affiliate click is not a confirmed sale.

AI and editorial responsibility

AI may assist with research organization and drafting. An editor remains responsible for sources, completeness and publication. Generated drafts do not publish automatically. We prioritize distinct, useful questions over producing a fixed number of pages.
